AR – VR

The lockdown highlighted the need to be able to provide multiple options in safe spaces to interact, socialise and work. Video calls saved the day for the operations of moose companies. Some even depended on Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. While AR and VR still have their issues in design, execution and even regulation, there is no denying that they are here to stay. Are football match tickets too expensive? Maybe the same match will air on a VR platform at an affordable price. The same immersive experience for much less. Cooking, designing, origami and even maths tutorials are available on YouTube these days. Videos are easily available to a wide audience, they are palpable and for profit-based organisations, and videos are easily monetised. This means that the creative, consumption and commercial aspects are all satisfied through this one medium. Learning to record videos, edit them and broadcast them even on a small scale is now an easy thing to learn and you can easily make a career out of it for at least the next 10 years or more.
